Clear the clutter and make space for the products you actually use
If You Have 5 Minutes
Quick expiry check: Open your bathroom cabinet or toiletries bag and pull out any products that are out of date. Start with sun cream, medicines, and skincare—these often have short shelf lives.
Toss the empties: Get rid of nearly empty bottles you’ve stopped using or products you didn’t like and never finished.
If You Have 30 Minutes
Group by category: Take everything out and sort it into groups—shampoo, body wash, skincare, haircare, travel minis, and so on. This will help you spot duplicates and things you rarely use.
Be honest: Let go of products that didn’t work for you or that you’ve had for too long. If it’s still sealed and in date, consider donating it to a local shelter or charity.
Organise clearly: Return only what you use regularly. Use small baskets, trays, or containers to keep categories together and easy to access.
If You Have Longer
Clean the space: While everything’s out, give drawers, shelves, or bags a good wipe down. Get rid of dust, spills, or old product residue.
Simplify your routine: Take stock of what you actually use daily and store those items front and centre. Tuck occasional-use products further back.
Plan future purchases: Make a list of what you need to replace soon and what you already have plenty of—this helps avoid overbuying.
This Week’s Challenge:
Declutter five toiletries you don’t use or need. A tidy bathroom space can make your daily routine feel calmer and more enjoyable.
